How many lumens does a meeting-room projector need?
For a typical meeting room with some daylight, Colion International recommends at least 3,500 to 4,000 ANSI lumens. Rooms with large windows or more than 30 people need 5,000 lumens or more, while a darkened training room can use less.
Is a laser projector worth the extra cost?
For rooms that use the projector for several hours a day, usually yes. A laser projector lasts around 20,000 hours without a lamp change and keeps its brightness longer, which lowers maintenance. For occasional use, a lamp-based model is the more economical choice.
Do you install projectors on the ceiling?
